A Technology and Telecommunications Policy Blog

First Week of Poliblog

Peter Thonis posted in PolicyBlog Web 2.0  on July 16, 2007, 03:52 PM EST

Today, Poliblog is a week old.   We've already learned a lot and are ready to learn more.  But at one week along I wanted to pass along our thanks for the welcome we've gotten in comments here at PoliBlog and written elsewhere.  Such as...

At broadband reports.

From supportive voices here and here.

And those who are more skeptical here, here and here

We also heard from noteworthy blog watchers Steve Rubel, Charlene Li  and Debbie Weil and respected telecom policy guru and uber-VON blogger Jeff Pulver.

There are others who noted our arrival; most had words of encouragement and all reminded us that you're all watching.  We're going to make mistakes and we'll try our best to quickly make amends, but we're listening and we're learning.  Also note that, true to our purpose, we'll do our best to offer horse's mouth comments about technology and telecom policy.

Again,  we wanted to say thanks for the welcome and for the advice -- our first week is behind us, and many more lay ahead.
