The duel dual meaning of this headline is purposeful.  Video voice over Net guru and Network2.tv founder had Verizon’s fiber optic data offering installed last week.  If anyone will “get” the power of the bandwidth FiOS delivers, it’s Jeff. 

In fact, in his first post he likens moving from his T-1 line to FiOS to the experience of moving from dial-up to broadband.  (A description picked up on by VOIP Watch[er Andy Abramson]).

Jeff is an ideal user.  He is hardly a VZ fanboy.  However, his pioneering work, especially with video, will give us all an idea of the future-proof power of fiber.

Jeff, welcome!  I look forward to reading more about your experiences with Verizon fiber.
