Sign me up! Oh, wait. No FiOS to apartment buildings in most of Manhattan, what is otherwise literally the global epicenter of networks from shipping to web production to FedEx deliveries. I guess in my case, FiOS delivers about 0 Mbps.

I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but all this talk of fiber is moot when you still haven't fixed your IMG. It was great until you shipped the new one at the end of the summer. I started seeing all kinds of bugs, which were partly fixed a few weeks ago, but I'm still having issues. I called to complain but was basically told that if I didn't like the service (Home Media DVR) I should just cancel it. Is this the best your CSRs can do? Come On! Please follow up on your firmware update plans. Don't make me go back to Comcast (I'm in MD).

Nice try indeed. This commercial is a poor attempt at a "gotcha." It reminds me of the sort of irresponsible writing that some Verizon Policy Blogger attempted recently. Hmm, who was that? Oh, right, you. http://policyblog.verizon.com/PolicyBlog/Blogs/policyblog/CZBlogger1/404/Schizophrenic-or-Just-Mistaken-.aspx Are you ignorant or just a poor writer? By the way, you have a typo in your fourth line. Try to find it.

NTI, Thanks for noticing the missing "s" in the word consumer. It's now corrected.

Alex H., Why do you think that Verizon is going to start deploying "bendable fiber"? Its so that they can cater directly to the consumers that are in MDU's (multiple dwelling units/apartments). Very seldomly will a company invest the amount Verizon has in a new technology to reach a very specific group of consumers. I highly doubt any other provider would venture to take on this investment.
