Received the free Sharp tv. Had problems with it. Verizon said to call Sharp. Sharp send it to send it to them. Sharp sent it back saying nothing was wrong. TV was working again. After a couple of weeks, still having problems. Sharp says to send it back to them again.

Verizon keeps sending me SPAM through snail mail. They destroyed my backyard when they put fiber to the pole then refused to clean up the mess. They have been sending me advertisements ever since. I have called them 3 times and have been told I would stop receiving advertisements in the mail, but it hasn't stopped. How do I contact Thomas M. Crowder? He is the one sending me the mail.

I had the triple play ordered and installed in Dec 2007. Never got the TV after many calls to Verizon cust svce. Was always told "Yes, you're on the list to get one. Please be patient." Finally, after one last call a week ago (Nov 2008), they told me they would give me a $12 credit every month for the next two years. I'll be watching my bill. YMMV...Pete

It took me over 6 months to receive my Sharp 19" TV - I had to make at least 8 calls and an fcc complaint to get it. When it arrived it did not work - this took me several more weeks to get the tv picked up. I am still waiting for Verizon to send me another replacement tv - they said it takes 6 wks from pick up I have one more week - something tells me I will be spending days on the phone again

Your update of 6/17/08 says you won't be satisfied until every customer who qualified for the promotion receives an HDTV. So would it be fair to assume you're not satisfied since my service was installed in early January and it's now mid August... still no tv, just a complete runaround everytime I call to inquire as to the status. I find it funny that Verizon expects customers to pay their bill in a timely fashion and Verizon requires their customers to agree to pay Early Termination Fees in the amount of $200, yet there doesn't appear to be any consequence to Verizon for their lack of performance regarding their end of the agreement. Way to go guys! Oh, and let me not forget to mention the wonderful referral program Verizon has. I'll be sure to pick up the phone to tell all of my friends and family about the wonderful service Verizon has to offer, and why they should switch. NOT!!!

This site seems to be dedicated to the fios and tv promo but there are some of us also directed to this site for a lesser gift because fios was not available in the specific location and again there is no way to register for the gift. Not only can we not log onto the site...search engines are not even directing us to the site. I would like to know where to register and how?

I just filed a complant with the BBB and I have called the state attorney general I also am looking into finding a class action lawyer. I find it sad that a company so large can do this I have had my service since jan and I have been lied to ever since. If you are reading this and you haven had your service installed DONT. This is no way to run a company.

We have met all requirements and still have been waiting since December and have not recieved anything. We were offered a number of alternatives over the last few months but want what was promised. As of the last conversation about 3 weeks ago with a supervisor we were told we would recieve the TV via Overnight, like I said this is going on 16 plus weeks all together.

I've had the same problems as listed above and so has everyone I know that took this promotion in the DC area after the New Year 2008. We're going to see what the Better Buisness Bureau can do for us. I suggest that everyone else affected does the same.

I have a similar problem when I signed up for the Verizon Fios with the 2 year contract they told me that after the date of installation which was in 2/08 that 2 weeks after I would receive a letter and to go on the website an pick what i wanted it is now 4/08 and have not received a letter. I have called numerus times the first time was the letter takes 3-6 weeks the next time i called they said it takes 6-10 weeks the third time i callesd they told me the letter is on its way which is ridiculious to receive a letter and the last time i called they said i should receive the letter in 5-10 days well guess what the 5-10 days have passed. And you know what if you can not handle this kind of advertisiment then you should not be offering anything. I have been Verizon since 1979 so they should be ashamed of themseleves. I am hoping to receive my letter soon so that I can get my free TV.

I have been a satisfied Verizon customer for many years, purchasing my hard wired phone service, wireless and most recently, Fios TV, Internet and Phone under the Triple Play promotion. I qualified for the free TV but, as others have reported, recieved no letter. I called to inquire approx. 30 days after the date of installation (Jan. 29th) and was told I was now "registered" and was offered apologies. I called again on April 21st to check on the progress of the TV and was told not only that I was "not registered for the TV" as I had been told in February but also that there was no claim number, registration number associated with this offering and that I simply had to take the persons word for it that I would get my TV. I am doubly upset to learn from Tappy Phillips of WABC that the people who complained got their TV's the next day!!! It as sad day in the world of commerce when a company is willing to sacrifice it's credibility, built over many years of reliable service, over such a simple matter. Frankly, if you found yourself in a position unable to satisfy the demand for TV's than you should have proactively contacted your customers and given them alternatives...gift cards, credits to their accounts, whatever, rather than appear as though you are children who have made a mistake and are too embarrassed to admit it. You should be ashamed of you conduct in this matter. It is not too late to salvage the situation but only if you become proactive and deal successfully with the problem. Sincerely, A rather disgruntled customer.

Signed up for double play on Nov. 7, 2007 and have had trouble ever since. Did not receive email to agree to terms. Have tried for over 4months to settle, but Verizon will not honor this anymore nor give me the digital camera I was told I would receive. I feel Verizon is very customer unfriendly and am very dissapointed for being to loyal for so many years. I guess they have too many customers and don't need my business. Why couldn't this matter have been attended to the first time and not taken 7 hours in total to get nowhere?

I am not completely satisfied with this service and may want to cancel it as I have not received a letter or TV as promised by Verizon. I do not appreciate being cheated by the Verizon Fios people. Eric: Did it ever occur to you to gather the information (gift card or TV) at the time of install? Instead of the run around - ie, waiting 3 weeks (if ever) to some letter, go to a website within 45 days etc? FiOS is a fantastic product, let's get it right all the way.

I had installed verizon fios triple play on 11/16/07. I am still waiting for the letter from verizon to claim the 19 inch LCD TV. I have made numerous phone calls but still no word on any letter yet. I was being told by the customer service people that I am eligible for the promotion. But I don't know what's taking so long to get the letter. It has been 5 months now and I am really very very frustrated by this. I wish I had never switch from comcast to verizon.

I too fell for it, I did see with my own eyes though my neighbor receiving her tv from the fed x on saturday. i dont know when she signed up. I signed up and had my service installed in january. the installer mentioned something about the camcorder i would be getting i said no it was a tv, he double checked and said yes the tv because i had the 2 year contract. nothing happened, i called and was told in 6-8 weeks i would get the notice with the numbers to enter online to redeem it. nothing again. i got onthe livehelp today and was told i have the wrong speed internet and she cannot help, to call another number, 18004834000 i spoke with very sweet as honey mike and he assured me that i could get the tv by switching to a higher speed internet, tried to dupe me with free $100 credits for a year for refering a friend, spyware software and movie channels. I declined all of them and he said he would be sending an email to confirm my package changes and then 6-8 weeks more for the thing to come in the mail. if i dont get it...call 8662790438. i am afraid of what will happen then?

What about all us poor souls who were bombarded with offers for items we could not recieve because WE ARE NOT IN A SERVICE AREA? My kids tortured me, Verizon tiortured me. I received: mailers, taunted by tv commercials, newspaper ads, promo stuffed in my Verizon ONE BILL. yet cannot even get FIOS. Now that it appears we can get service in a monh or 3, the prices have gone up, and the promotions evaporated. When My Verizon Wireless contract is up, I'm finished. time to look for greener pastures. It took 1 year to get a replacement DSL modem. Thanks!!!

Below is the confirmation email I got from Verizon when I ordered the triple play on 2/16/2008. That order was wiped out and re-entered on 2/24 without my knowledge. I have email from a Verizon employee who I talked to on 2/28 stating that I am eligible for free HDTV, but up to now, no HDTV. Instead, I get an offer for a $100 Circuit City gift card. I have talked to several Verizon reps about this issue and was passed around back and forth with no one able to help out. So far, this has not been the case for my husband and I. We signed up for the Verizon FIOS Triple Play on December 4th and were assured by customer service that we would receive the free TV. Our installation order was lost twice, and we have called monthly about the confirmation letter and television each time getting a different story. We were finally told that we didn't qualify because we didn't sign up for two years, even though our billing rate states that we did. The quality of the FIOS picture is absolutely amazing, but my husband and I are now considering leaving Verizon as their customer service has been poor and we feel mislead and lied to about the Free LCD TV offer. I would love it if someone from Verizon would follow up with me via e-mail regarding the television offer in order to get this issue resolved and keep us as customers for the full two years.

This is just another in a long string of lies from Verizon. I practically killed myself to get the 'letter' at which time I promptly filed online and received confirmation. I have NEVER!!!!! been offered any alternatives, just relentless lies that the tv is coming. Eventually this model will be so obsolete that they will be able to buy them for fifty bucks. Maybe then we'll get them. More likely, by then we'll have been held captive for two years of the two year commitment and they will decide that they have nothing to gain by fulfilling their promise. Stay with Comcast. They actually answer their phone rather than outsourcing the calls to a bunch of teenagers who couldn't care less.

Let me start this by saying I am not employed by Verizon. Free TV: I had the service installed February 15th. I received my letter about the TV 4 weeks after that and followed the instructions online. Still waiting for the TV but the timeline is playing out like stated. Customer Service: I have had to call Customer Service on 3 separate issues. First time was to the phone department because voice mail was not working properly. This took some time, maybe 20 minutes on hold and being passed around but issue was resolved. Second call was due to a poor wireless bandwidth issue. If plugged into the router, I was seeing 20mb/4mb speeds. On wireless, the service was 8mb/4mb and worse than Comcast. I was put through to Tech Support, he told me of some known issues with the WEP keys and channels, made some changes, and I have had a consistent 20mb/4mb on wireless. This call, I was only hold maybe 3 minutes and then online with the tech for 20. Third time was last week because 2 boxes wouldn't display some Showtime channels. When they couldn't reset the boxes remotely, they said they would send a tech out. I figured on typical Verizon delays but nearly died when they said a tech would be out the next morning. Tech arrived about noon and swapped out a bad HD/DVR. He also rewire part of one room because he noticed the cable was older after a barrel connector. With all the complaints I see here and elsewhere about bad customer service I must disagree. Maybe it is a NJ thing but they have been great. I am glad I switched - Comcast and Vonage was horrible.

Next will will mark 5 months since I got FIOS installed. Despite many calls, the general runaround (it's billing's fault, it's the promotions dept's fault), promises that I'll get something in the mail.... still no letter, still no TV. And where are all those HD channels that Verizon's been promising for 2008? Verizon has becoming a good company to one with nothing but empty promises.

The timelines represented in this Q & A do not reflect my experience. My installation occurred on 02/16/2008. After waiting the 3 weeks recommended period to receive the letter, and not receiving it, I called Verizon customer service. I was told that due to overwhelming response to this offer, it would be at least 6 weeks post-installation before I would receive the letter. I waited an additional 3 weeks and called again. This time I was told to expect the letter within the week. I just called again today (04/04) and was told that I should expect the letter in another week. So, here it is now 7 weeks post-installation, and I don't even have the letter yet, which, once I receive and have the information to go to the redemption site, I will then be looking at another 7-10 weeks (if the timelines indicated in the Q&A are correct) before receiving the TV. Maybe my expectations are high, but I think waiting 3 to 4 months for this offer to be fulfilled is excessive.

I signed up for the Bundle on January 8, 2008. I was told that I was eligible for and would receive info and/or a certificate within 8 to 10 weeks re a gift certificate to buy the LCD TV. It is now almost 3 months later. I have not received anything correspondence from Verizon nor has anyone from Verizon returned my calls re this issue. My next step is to contact consumers affair and my local television news stations consumer report personnel. I'm beginning to feel that I'm being scammed or was given erroneous information from Verizon's Customer Service personnel. What has happened to "Customer Service?"

I had the triple service bundle installed on 12/20/07. It is now 4/2/08 and I still don't have the letter telling me how to claim the gift card or free TV. I have called a combined 14 times to the customer service and rebate centers over the last 3+ months. I have spoken to supervisors on both lines. I have been told that there were system problems, that I needed to wait 4 more weeks, and that it should be there any day. Today, I filed online complaints with my local Better Business Bureau and state Attorney General because of what seems to be potential false or misleading advertising. You may want to consider doing the same if you are having this problem since it does not seem that this is an isolated issue.

this is apparently a crock as i have yet to receive a letter after almost 2 months of service even though i was told that it would be much sooner than that, and every call i have made and every email i have sent has been met with nothing. the customer service of this company and their apparent lack of respect for their customers and their inabilty to fulfill promises almost makes me want to cancel sevice with them. especially since i am paying for hd service and still have no tv to truly enjoy hd. i think for everyone including myself they should give us free hd service for however many months we have to wait for the tv since we are paying for the service without actually watching the hd signal.

Dec10 for original instalation. After a call to the district maanager who My hsuband has worked closely with due to the fact that our bourough council are th ones who had the say so to have verizon in Kennett Square bourough. They eventually did come two days later on a Sunday and we were up and running/ well the I guess I can just say scam because via email my husband responded to the free TV which I really was delighted to get we even were the First on are whole block to have Fios installed for TV and know internet. I have called at least 8-10 times asking if we pick up TV or deliver they all say that it will be delivered. my husband reentered the # and it stated expired....... What in the world does that mean we did and followed through with the process not only via computer but also via phone X8 well on 4/1/08 I was on the phone I am not kiddingat least 4 hours trying to understand how our procedure of calling and emaililing was so unsuccessful and at times even getting laughted for not understanding this makes me so upset It is like I am looking for a free ride/ WE PAY OUR BILLS WE ARE HONEST PEOPLE YOU cO. MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A COMPLETE FOUL. I ordered Fios Triple Bundle service on Nov 30, 2007, installed on Dec 18, 2007. Got a first invoice showing Double Bundle service with TV as add-on. I got an eligibility letter for a Double Bundle service award, not the Triple Bundle reward. Called the Billing and Reward centers on January 7th, 14th and 30th and they acknowledged the problem and would fix the billing. Got the 2nd invoice on Feb 1st, the same billing problem, and I called the Billing center asking them to fix the problem. They promised that it will be fixed on the next billing cycle. I called the Reward center on Feb 12th and 28th, and I was told that it's still under "Research" status and they had no records that I called prior to February. I sent Mr. Brian Angiolet, Executive Director of Consumer Marketing a letter explaining my situation and requesting assistance. I have not heard from him or from any of his people. On March 3rd, I received my third invoice and it was still incorrect, Double instead of Triple. I called the Billing center and the agent said he would fix it, and he gave me credit for all three months of over-charge. He also confirmed that the Billing and Reward systems would be corrected. On March 31st, I called the Reward center and they gave me another number (866-837-4966) to contact for my status. I tried calling the number many times over a period of two days and it could not complete the connection after I went through numerous prompts. I called the Billing center and found out that the 4th invoice was still billed under Double Bundle, not Triple Bundle, and the agent said she would fix the problem and gave me credit for the difference. This is unbelievable. I do have the complete audit trail on all the individuals I talked to, every one of the incorrect invoices, and time I spent on this terrible experience. Finally, I decided to send a letter to Virginia Ruesterholz, President of Verizon Telecom, and see if she can help since no body can tackle this problem. I sure hope this is a unique problem of mine and not a systemic problem in Verizon. Well I am still waiting for my reward and the first correct invoice from Verizon. By the way, the Fios service does offer greater value and higher quality in comparison to other providers. However, I am sure Verizon would have a higher penetration if they fix this billing/reward issue quickly.

All this blog is total BS! I had FIOS installed in December 18 2007. It was a triple play. I called billing and the promotional center and spoke with supervisors and we all agree that I qualified for the TV offer. I still haven't received the letter or any solid correspondence from a valid Verizon Rep. Verizon doesn't give two hoots about this lack of following through on their own offers. I am so dissapointed in the disgusting handling of this situation. Thanks Verizon- now I'm really angry!

Wow, I am surprised Verizon is daring enough to post a blog about this. Does the management even admit to any errors in their billing. What they should do right is now is get names of people who are complaining and correct them. I, and everyone else posting complaints about their promotion or "deception" shouldn't have to call so many freaking times and wait on excuriating long hold times to get someone and then call around to Billing and hten Promo and then back and forth like tennis till someone says I can help you yet the earlier ones. Cablevision is offering a buy back and I will switch back and I hate Cablevision but Verizon is worst of the 2, no support after business hours...though I never need to use it other than to complain to get my freaking TV. People that read this, please complain to your State BPU (Board of Publick Utilities) cause I got a letter back from my Attorney General in NJ that that is out of their jurisdiction. What's even more ironic is that I can't even post w/o getting a 404 from their so called fast internet cause I have more than 1 computer in my household and they refuse to acknowledge their Actiontec router's NAT problem which is a POS. (I know the problem is not with speed but it cripples internet usage!)

I had FIOS "triple play" installed with offer for free tv on january 31. I called the rebate center at 866-279-0438 on 2/22, 3/6 and more recently today (3/28) The rebate center says I have not been granted eligibility by you. they adivsed me to call 866-837-4966 which despite carefully selecting the proper options ended the call with the recorded message that they could no longer process this call. 3 times. I called the rebate center back, got a supervisor, and conferenced them in. Together we repeated the sequence and were again hung up on. They said they would "make a note of it" As of this writing I have spent over 2 and a half hours of my life on getting the promised TV.

I'll believe it when I see it. I had my service installed on Jan. 6th. Got a letter to get a free camcorder even though a I qualified for a free HDTV. I called, and they said that my services were somehow on two separate accounts, so it didn't look like I was eligible for the TV. I was told that this was fixed and I would receive a new letter to get my HDTV. That was over six weeks ago... no letter. I call today and they tell me that my offer has expired. I threaten legal action and a supervisor tells me that they will investigate my account and send a new letter for the TV when that is complete. I do not believe my TV will ever come. Time to talk to a lawyer.

According to my letter I did not have to do anything to get the Magnavox TV instead of the sharp. However it has been three months since I got the triple package. The first letter said six to eight weeks, the second letter said 4 more weeks and the sales representative said they installer would bring the TV with him the day he installed the service, the installer said it would be two weeks. So we had cable hooked to a broken TV since it would be two weeks. I have been paying three months for a second box that the TV does not work. The customer service number alway says to call back during normal business hours regardless what time you call. I think I am going to call the States Attorney as suggested by the New York Times. I am in VA. Thank you Kathryn Ragland Rea

HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got off the phone with support about my Best Buy gift card. Service was installed on January 8th. No letter, no card. The only thing I have gotten is the bills and numerous phone calls from telemarketers wanting to sell me FIOS Triple Play. Today was the 4th time I have called about my gift card. Today's excuse was that this offer is not available to Oregon residents. Give me a break!!!!!! Sales team said nothing about not being available in Oregon, the other 3 support people said nothing about it not being available in Oregon. They know I live in Oregon because the bill finds me. Suddenly the $175 cancellation fee doesn't look so bad. I am a Verizon stockholder to boot. They just don't care.

Had Fios installed on 11/20/07 - was promised that the letter to redeem the free TV would arrive within 3 weeks - letter arrived at the beginning of February - it is now 3/25/08, more than 4 months have gone by since my install and no TV, no answers when I call - the only call I got was from my former cable co. willing to match Fios's offer give me the $$ to terminate my contract and another $100 for movie rentals - what should i do? - has anyone noticed that while using the guide feature it freezes up at times - I called about this and was told I would need to upgrade to a different box - I asked for the same price and was told it would be a $1.25 more a month - think i'll wait for my tv then take my cable co. offer

I along with 20 other people, who purchased the FIOS promotional package and have yet to receive the TV or get any straight answers, have contacted the Massachusetts Attorney general to file fraud and deceptive business practice charges; in addition we are working to separately file a class action law suite against Verizon. I was so frustrated that I contacted Comcast and told them about my experience with Verizon, they have offered to give me 4 months for free to switch over... so glad I did. Call Comcast and switch, you'll be so much happier.

I signed up for the triple play Jan 11, 2008. Verizon told me I am not eligible for the free HDTV because I have 5mbps internet service with them instead of 15mbps. They told me if I paid $10.00 dollars more a month at the time of my installation I would have qualified for the free HDTV. I did call back sometime in jannuary and spoke to someone there who told me the speed of the internet service has nothing to do with it. After talking to a supervisor today he told me I needed 15mbps of internet service at the time of installation and that I don’t qualify for anything. I live in P.A and he informed me the offer for the free video camcordor was only avalible in the western states. He said he would credit my account for $50.00 dollars and that would be the only thing he could do and was sorry. I had never received my letter for the free HDTV so I went on line and clicked on the 2yr agreement just to get the letter sent out faster. Verizon is scamming the public I told him and I’ll be waiting for a class action lawsuit. against them. Comment by DON — March 25, 2008

Verizon triple play is a scam, buyer beware. No tv, no gift card, nothing. You can wait on hold and get the run around, and still nothing. Verizon does not live up to their promise. I orderd triple play in December, no letter, promises, but nothing. Good luck.

For whatever this is worth, I was just told by the Verizon Promotions Department (1-866-279-0438 option 4) that the letter detailing this offer is mailed six weeks after installation for any installation completed after February 1st, 2008. Oh - BTW, if you thought your cable company was bad at customer service, you really have no idea how bad it can be until you have dealt with Verizon. The devil you know is always better than the one you don't......

The following e-mail was sent on Thursday March 13. In return I received a really swell response promising to resolve the problem. They should only hang by the thumbs (assuming they have found someone who actually has them! Or failing that they should hang by their (and this is probably more appropriate) tails !! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!! Today (3/20) is the second time this week I have had the misfortune of having to try to reach someone in (I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS TITLE) "CUSTOMER SERVICE"! Earlier in the week I spent over two hours being disconnected (four times) hung up on (ONLY ONCE!)While intermittently put on hold. Each time I had a brand new "happy to be of assistance" rep apologizes for the last rep, while promising to "take care of the matter"! Each time I was put on hold and recirculated back into the menu system while an equally cheerful voice (recorded of course!)thanked me for calling Verizon and that (of course) my call was very important (to whom?) and would be answered "in the order in which it was received"! The reason for my call was only partially addressed and I choose not to pursue the second problem for fear of breaking things!!!!! That call was two days ago. In going over my Verizon phone bill today I noticed a discrepancy and (fool that I am)I decided to call customer service once again. "Maybe that earlier call was just one of those "Comedy of Errors") that just happens "To the Best of Them" "What Are the Odds I Asked Myself?!" Care to guess??????? Again I wound up speaking to three different ("just Happy As sprinkles On An Ice Cream Cone!")reps. I have figured out why they are so happy. All they have to do is put the customer on hold where they are promptly recirculated back into the menu system, where the cheerful voice reassures them how "Important Their Call Is" and there is no way to get back to the previous rep. Why do I get the feeling that your system was put together by a postal inspector? By the way I hope this note isn't taking up to much of your time. If it takes more than ten minutes you still owe me ABOUT FOUR HOURS!!!!!!! By the way (this is really going to make you chuckle) after being put on terminal hold third time a very cheerful (recorded of course) came on the line. I knew this was going to be a new message since I have gotten to know each and every one of your ("your call is so very important that the mere thought that we might inconvenience you causes unimaginable gas pains") by heart! Guess what this message said.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------No! come on now. You won't really get the full impact if you don't try at least one guess. The message said (you are really not going to believe this!) The message said, HERE IT COMES!------------------------------------------------------"our customer service department is closed for today, please try back tomorrow between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M."!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now is that a kick in the gonads or what? Now in an added touch of irony while I was typing this little missive of hate who should try to reach me but TA DA! CABLEVISION!! When I cancelled their service they said (here is something else your not going to believe)that I would be very unhappy with Verizon, and they would check back in case I wanted to switch back. I reminded them that I had already signed the contract and it was a moot point since I had no intention of paying any of the disconnect fees. They said they would pick up any and all penalties. By the way if you are keeping track, don't worry you still owe me about 3 1/2 hours! I'll make this simple, since I know you must have many more people waiting to be pissed off. If you can think of any reason at all for me not to cancel (my turn for a chuckle) give me a call. But don't wait to long, my service

I signed up for and had installed, my triple bundle since December of 2007 but still have not received the letter. We went to the Verizon store where we confirmed that the promotional offer applied to us and that we should be getting our letter soon..... yeah, whatever! Still no letter so we called....Finally got a hold of someone in February who again verified that we qualified for the TV and that they were having some issue with the system that generates the letters on top of the fact that my data was never properly entered into the system to be put on said list. The rep was very curteous and stated she would make certain that my information would be put in the system and that we would get our letter (unfortunately) in another 4 to 6 weeks. As of March 18th (six weeks has passed) still no letter. I find it very "convenient" that Verizon's TV offer has been extremely slowed down by "gliches" in the system but I have no problem recieving statements for the bundle package like clockwork. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here with a bundle package paying over 100.00 a month in fees and am paying for a box (for the "new" tv)that hasn't even been delivered (and may not be here before my two year contract is expired)yet. Maybe you should put your promotions stuff on your billing software server! With all the billions you are making on your consumers you need to stop the B.S and deliver what you promise! I can be reached at my e-mail address above (which is also the same one I gave you when I signed up for the services and you so graciously sent me confirmations to). PLEASE E-MAIL me so I can get some sort of satisfaction.

I should qualify for the free tv-- have talked with numerous Verizon people at your promo center and tech support and they agree that I should be eligible but cannot explain why when I try to accept the T&Cs I get an error message. I want someone to let me know what is going on or I should be eligible to cancel all services and Verizon pay for me to reinstate comcast which was cheaper to begin with and less service problems!!!!!

On January 10, 2008, I had the Triple Play installed in my home. I have been waiting now eight weeks for a the promised 19 inch Sharp HDTV television, I have exchanged several emails with customersupport@verizon.com and only received the run around. The promotional offer was to RECEIVE the TV in 4-6 weeks! I have not received the promised TV or letter to this day. I know that I am eligible for a television. I called customer service and promotional office 866-279-0438 and placed on hold for more than a half hour the rep gave me no answer and would not let me speak to a supervisor. Well, the weeks have evolved into months. Please let me know what is going on. I want my television. If this is not fraud is a very misleading business relationship that VZ should not accept.

It was interesting to read your above times for when letters would be sent and tvs would be delivered. Unfortuneately when I had called and inquired about my letter and where it was the rep told me that it would be sent 6-8 weeks, not the 2-3 as promised above or on the automated phone call that I received after my installation. I can understand the overwhelming demand but this is how you can lose customers when too many different people say different things. I am a customer and an employee---I hear this all day long at my job and frankly its embarrassing.

I signed up for the triple play bundle the first day the free 19" lcd hd tv was offered. I STILL have not received a confirmation letter. I have called the Verizon Promotions number several times. The last time I called (3 weeks ago)they said they sent a letter to Verizon the end of January to confirm my eligibility, etc. So I should be receiving a letter soon. I have received nothing, except I did receive my monthly bill and discovered that I have been OVERCHARGED for three months! I think Verizon needs to rehaul their so-called customer service dept.

I got my triple bundle installed in November but still have not received the letter. Finally got a hold of someone in January who verified that my data was never properly entered into the system to be put on some list and generated some request to get the letter. Still no letter. Called back a couple more times, and was rebuffed each time with We can't verify when the letter was/will be generated but was told that I'm on the list. Keep waiting and don't call back until six weeks. They are really polite in that dept (end sarcasm) Well, six weeks went by and I called again to find out why I haven't received my letter yet. Was told there's no record of me in the system. ARGH. Was told I was being transferred to a supervisor in Orders to verify my eligibility. Ended up on the general queue for new orders, not to a supervisor. Rep there tried to be nice and told me that she would resubmit my free TV to the Rewards dept with an accelerated flag on it. I have high doubts that it'll get me anywhere.

Great promotion. It brought in those customers "on the fence". It also assured Verizon of getting those same customers to order an HDTV box. FIOS is a great product (I have it). Now those customers "on the fence" who ordered are also free advertisements for us. Win - win situation for Verizon.

You don't have to offer me a T.V., or camera, or anything else. I would be willing to sign a five year triple play contract if you would get your service to me. Hell I'd even be willing to pay for all the equipment (fiber drop included), as part of the install fee. But I understand you have bigger fish to fry on the east and west coast. I guess I'll just keep on waiting for my Verizon copper phone line to magically turn into a fiber line.

I am in the Northeast and found out through a few phone calls that those Andover Mass reps are the cause of us not getting our free tvs! I guess when they sweeten the deal with upfront credits off the advertised prices the tool they use, something called lec or lek retain, it knocks us out of getting our tv! I guess it's supposed to be used as a tool to give credits when I threaten to leave or whatever but hell I would rather have the free tv FIRST than the six lec/lek retain credits the rep Luke gave me - he can give me the free tv movie packages for two years AFTER I get my free tv! I love that he offered me everything - phone tv and internet for only 50 bucks a month but the way he did it, I want my tv FIRST! I can always get him to give me the credits back later.

On January 11, 2008, I had the Triple Play installed in my home. I have been waiting many weeks for a television, and I have not received a letter to this day. I do know that I am eligible for a television. I called customer service and they lied and said my letter will come in the mail in about three weeks. Well, the weeks have evolved into months. Please let me know what is going on. I want my television.

Surprising Verizon would choose to distribute Sharp TV's. Many of us who own Sharp TV's and are FIOS-TV subscribers have an ongoing issue with Verizon, because we cannot receive local HD channels via our QAM tuner. Verizon blames Sharp, Sharp blames verizon, and the customer pays the price. I am fortunate, because I retained Comcast in my house, and can get the same local HD channels that Verizon cannot or will not provide, via Comcast. Eric, if you read response to your blog, how about kicking this up to Ruesterholz and her team for a fix. There is a thread about this issue in the Broadband Reports FIOS-TV forum. I am also available via my e-mail address for more detail. THX

Your full of it. I have been trying since last October to get my TV. Along the way I have met up with employees that lie to you, others that don't do what they are supposed to do, while another group doesn't return your phone calls (This includes executive management) Maybe you should stop writing press releases go down to the warehouse and slap some shipping labels on some boxes!
